"Grad School Drop Out" is not the name of the next Kayne West album.

After only three classes, I'm dropping out of graduate school.

But, as the kids like to say, it's all good. From the moment I stepped foot into my first class, the doubts began to set in.

"Why am I here?"

"What is the point of this?"

"This isn't what I thought I signed up for."

"Do I really want to spend the rest of my life as a pencil-pushing government bureaucrat?"

I guess it's best to trust your gut instinct if something doesn't feel right. And with that, I came to the decision that I'd better cash in my chips now before I hit the point of no academic return.

So, is anybody looking to hire a newly-minted econ major?

Some ran-dumb thoughts on Super Bowl XLII.

Editor's Note: Yeah, this is the same thing I posted a few weeks ago. Sue me.

If you're an Eagles fan like me, who exactly are you rooting for? Your NFC East arch-rival? Or the team that cheated the Eagles out of a Super Bowl ring?

As far as I'm concerned, I'm treating this game as the NFL version of the Iran-Iraq war. In the end, it really doesn't matter who wins, just as long as there's heavy casualties on both sides. (Although it would be pretty sweet if New England wins tonight, then loses to Jacksonville in the Playoffs.)

Watching this brought a tear to my eye. Tears of joy that is.

Chris Harris: College Graduate

It may have come a dozen or so years late, but I am officially a college graduate.

The Final Score:

ECONOMICS OF LABOR B+
ST: ANTI-AMERICANISM A

Final GPA: 3.425

It's been a while since I updated this, so I guess I should let you all know now. I got into graduate school. Yep, I got in. Not into a Ph.D. program, mind you.

I'm starting an MPA program at Rutgers-Camden later this month. It's one of those five-year joint BA/MPA deals that schools are offering these days, and it's one that I didn't even know about until a couple of weeks ago.

Although I still have a Ph.D. as my ultimate goal, I feel as though this is my best option now.

Oh yeah, I took the GRE this afternoon.

550 Verbal
590 Quantative

OUCH!!!
